Job Description
Lindi Graphite Technology Limited is a mining company focused on the exploration and development of graphite resources in Tanzania. As part of its expansion and infrastructure development activities, the company undertakes the construction of offices, camps, roads, and various project facilities to support its operations in remote project locations.
The Construction Site Manager role is a senior technical position responsible for overseeing construction activities at project sites in the Katavi Region. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction works are completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in compliance with project requirements and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
Responsibilities
The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities while ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely project delivery. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Manage the construction of offices, camps, roads, and other project facilities
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams on site
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety requirements, and construction schedules
- Coordinate procurement and availability of construction materials and equipment
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular construction and performance reports
- Resolve construction-related challenges and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure work is performed according to specifications and approved designs
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards at all project sites
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution
- Manage project resources efficiently to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with applicable construction regulations and company policies
- Support project planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification

- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
