The F&B and Banquet Attendant role within the Food & Beverage department is focused on supporting food service operations and banquet events. The position plays an important part in ensuring that guests receive high-quality service during meals, meetings, and special functions through proper setup, service delivery, and maintenance of clean and organized service areas.

Responsibilities
The F&B and Banquet Attendant is responsible for supporting food and beverage service operations as well as assisting in the setup and execution of banquet events. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Set up and arrange banquet halls and dining areas for events and functions
  • Assist in serving food and beverages to guests during meals and events
  • Ensure tables, chairs, and service areas are properly arranged according to event requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
  • Support banquet operations by following instructions from supervisors and senior staff
  • Ensure proper handling of service equipment and utensils during operations
  • Assist in clearing tables and resetting dining areas after service

  • Report any guest issues or service challenges to supervisors promptly
  • Follow all hotel hygiene, safety, and service standards during operations

Qualification

  • Relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service, Tourism, or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a reputable hotel, lodge, restaurant, or hospitality establishment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and procedures
  • Fluency in English language communication
  • Knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy for applicable hotel operations will be an advantage
  • Strong teamwork, discipline, and time management skills
