Responsibilities

The Tailor will be responsible for producing and altering garments while ensuring accuracy, creativity, and high-quality workmanship. The role requires the ability to operate modern tailoring equipment, maintain work standards, and collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Operate modern sewing machines and various tailoring equipment effectively
• Take accurate body measurements for garment production
• Create garment patterns and cut fabrics with precision
• Sew and produce different types of garments while maintaining quality standards
• Perform garment alterations and adjustments according to customer or company requirements
• Ensure all tailoring tasks are completed within the required timelines
• Apply creativity and attention to detail in garment design and finishing
• Maintain and properly use tailoring equipment to prevent damage and minimize waste
• Follow workplace procedures and supervisors’ instructions at all times
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets

Qualification

• Certificate in Fashion Design or a related tailoring field
• At least two (2) years of work experience in the tailoring industry
• Experience in sewing and producing various garments while maintaining quality standards
• Strong skills and experience in making men’s wear
• Proficiency in operating modern sewing machines and tailoring equipment
• Ability to take measurements, create garment patterns, cut, and sew fabrics accurately
• Ability to perform garment alterations and modifications
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills
• Disciplined, trustworthy, and professional conduct at work
• Ability to follow supervisors’ instructions effectively
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain and properly use work equipment
