Responsibilities
The Occupational Health Nurse will play a vital role in safeguarding employee health by providing medical care, conducting health assessments, and implementing occupational health programs. Qualification

  • Registered Nurse with specialized training in Occupational Health
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid nursing license
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English language communication
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or occupational health management systems
  • Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Ability to analyze health data, identify trends, and recommend preventive measures
  • Knowledge of health risk assessment methodologies and fitness-for-duty evaluations
  • Experience working with diverse and multicultural teams
  • Strong decision-making skills, particularly during medical emergencies in remote locations
  • Familiarity with Tanzanian occupational health legislation and mining industry health standards
