Job Description

Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML), a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti, is offering a Graduate Trainee Programme designed to equip young Tanzanian graduates with practical workplace experience in the mining industry. The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional employment by providing structured training within one of the world’s leading gold mining companies.

The one-year Graduate Trainee Programme provides participants with hands-on experience across various functional areas of the mining operation. Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured one-year graduate training programme across various operational and professional disciplines
• Support day-to-day activities within assigned departments while gaining practical work experience
• Complete assigned projects and tasks to develop technical and professional competencies
• Work closely with experienced supervisors and mentors to strengthen industry knowledge and practical skills
• Apply academic knowledge to real-world mining operations and business processes

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree obtained between 2022 and 2025
• Degree awarded with First Class or Second-Class Honours
• Tanzanian citizen
• Unemployed graduate aged between 18 and 30 years
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic work environments
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

General Conditions

• Full-time Graduate Trainee Programme based in Geita, Tanzania
• Programme duration is one year
• Open only to unemployed Tanzanian graduates who meet the stated eligibility criteria
