Job Description

The Manager – Market Research & Insights role is designed to strengthen the Bank’s strategic decision-making through advanced market intelligence, customer behavior analysis, and competitive benchmarking. The position plays a key role in translating data into actionable insights that support product innovation, digital transformation, and enhanced customer experience across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market and customer research initiatives to identify gaps in products, services, and features
  • Assess customer adoption, satisfaction levels, and value realization to guide product optimization
  • Monitor, analyze, and forecast industry, consumer, digital banking, fintech, and regulatory trends
  • Identify market opportunities, threats, and unmet customer needs to support strategic planning
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking on pricing, service standards, value propositions, and digital capabilities
  • Develop customer personas, behavioral segments, and end-to-end customer journey maps
  • Design and execute research studies including surveys, focus groups, mystery shopping, and NPS analysis
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, validate hypotheses, and generate actionable insights
  • Translate research findings into business recommendations and executive decision-support reports
  • Present insights and findings to internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance with ethical research standards, data privacy regulations, and internal governance policies
  • Oversee research quality, methodology consistency, and integrity of all insight outputs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop research team members while managing performance and KPIs
  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners and manage related contracts and engagements

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or related field
  • Master’s degree (MBA or related discipline) is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market research, customer insights, or analytics roles
  • Experience in a financial institution, digital business, or research agency preferred
  • Strong proficiency in statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS, R, or similar platforms
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for executive-level reporting
  • Strong understanding of banking products, financial markets, and industry dynamics
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and make strategic decisions under uncertainty
