To support its digital transformation initiatives, HBS is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full-Stack Software Developer to join its technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web and mobile applications that support the school’s academic and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web and mobile applications using modern development frameworks
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance front-end and back-end solutions
• Develop and maintain APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL services, for efficient system integration and data exchange
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or similar technologies
• Develop Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, React Native, or related frameworks
• Manage and optimize databases using SQL technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server, as well as NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Firebase, and Redis
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, and Vercel
• Implement security best practices including OAuth, JWT authentication, SSL/HTTPS encryption, CORS policies, and CSRF protection
• Automate development and deployment workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that meet organizational needs
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least five years of professional experience in web and mobile application development
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
• Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or Laravel
• Experience in database design, administration, and API development
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and application deployment
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices
• Expert-level computer proficiency and advanced problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities
