Job Description

The Assistant Workshop Manager position supports the Workshop Manager in coordinating daily workshop operations, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth production activities. Responsibilities
- Assist the Workshop Manager in supervising workshop employees and daily operations
- Coordinate production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Support implementation of company policies and operational procedures
- Monitor workshop performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Facilitate communication between Chinese management and local employees
- Provide translation support when required
- Coordinate information flow between management and workshop teams
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Assist in preparing operational and production reports
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and workplace compliance
- Track performance and provide feedback to management
- Support employee engagement and workplace discipline
- Learn production processes and manufacturing technologies
- Develop technical and leadership skills in workshop management
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Workshop Manager
Qualification required
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good coordination and organizational abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Previous supervisory or team coordination experience
- Knowledge of industrial operations and production processes
