JEMA Africa LTD is recruiting three Accounting Interns to support its finance function in Mwanza. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure in accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations within a structured corporate environment.

The role focuses on building foundational accounting skills while supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in routine accounting processes. Interns will gain hands-on experience in financial documentation, reporting cycles, and compliance-related tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation and processing of financial reports and accounting documents.
• Maintaining and organizing financial records, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Supporting daily accounting operations such as data entry, reconciliations, and filing of financial records.
• Assisting the finance team during month-end reporting and compliance activities.
• Participating in general administrative and accounting support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial analysis tasks.
• Strong numerical ability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity and accuracy in handling financial information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a professional finance environment.
