Duties and Responsibilities:
The Nursing Officer II will provide nursing services to clients in the community, hospitals, and other health service delivery settings. The role includes collecting essential health statistics, supervising and guiding subordinate nursing staff, and providing home-based care services. The officer will offer counselling services, prepare work plans for nursing services, and provide maternal and child health services.
Additional responsibilities include educating patients and the community on health matters and performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with the officer’s education, experience, and professional skills.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a government-recognized university, have completed a one-year internship, and be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Remuneration:
Salary scale TGHS C.
