Duties and Responsibilities:
The Biomedical Engineer II will be responsible for maintenance of medical equipment at the district level, particularly electronic medical equipment. The role includes maintaining proper technical and maintenance records for medical equipment, carrying out preventive maintenance services, and requisitioning spare parts for medical equipment. The officer will also prepare budget estimates for district-level medical equipment maintenance services and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor relevant to their education, experience, and professional skills.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from a government-recognized institution and must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Tanzania.
Remuneration:
Salary scale TGHS D.
