The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS), on behalf of the Cereals and Other Produce Board of Tanzania (COPBT), invites qualified and competent Tanzanians to apply for twenty-seven (27) vacant posts.

All positions are offered on a one-year contract basis. Applicants must meet the stated qualifications and comply with all application conditions before submission.

1. Accounts Assistant II – 3 Posts

The Accounts Assistant II will support financial management functions and ensure accurate record keeping within the Board.

The role requires attention to detail, proper documentation control and regular reconciliation of financial records.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reconcile fees and registers
  • Maintain custody of bills, invoices and claims
  • Update cheque register
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements
  • Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary ledger balances
  • Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts

Qualifications

  • Secondary Education Certificate
  • Certificate in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
  • One-year contract
  • Salary Scale: CPBSS 3

2. Laboratory Technician II – 1 Post

The Laboratory Technician II will perform laboratory testing and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The position requires accurate sample analysis and proper documentation of laboratory results.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, label and analyze samples
  • Conduct laboratory testing according to procedures

11. ICT Officer II (Computer Systems Analyst) – 1 Post

12. Driver II – 2 Posts

General Conditions

  • Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens not above 45 years of age.
  • Specific age limits apply for paramilitary institutions.
  • Public servants and retired public servants are not eligible.
  • Certified academic and professional certificates must be attached.
  • Form IV and Form VI result slips are not accepted.
