About the Vodacom Internship Programme
The Vodacom Internship Programme is a 12-month fixed-term contract designed to provide meaningful workplace experience for fresh graduates. Through this programme, interns gain practical exposure, explore career pathways, and build strong professional networks while earning an income.
Importantly, the programme serves as a talent pipeline into permanent roles as opportunities become available within the organization.
- Start Date: June 2026
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Eligibility: Graduates who have completed an undergraduate degree or equivalent
Programme Objectives
The Vodacom Internship Programme aims to:
- Develop a strong talent pipeline for Vodacom’s core business areas
- Provide unemployed graduates with opportunities to build competencies in a digital technology environment
- Prepare young professionals for future leadership and technical roles

Programme Requirements
To qualify for the Vodacom Early Careers Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen
- Must be a fresh graduate or have less than two years of work experience
- Must be 26 years old or younger
- Must have obtained a minimum of an upper-second class degree or equivalent
- Preferred academic backgrounds include:
- Computer Science or Information Technology
- Statistics or Actuarial Science
- Telecommunication, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
- Economics
- Accounting or Finance
- Sales and Marketing
Application Process
Step 1: Eligibility Check
Ensure that you meet all the programme requirements before submitting your application.
Step 2: Online Application
Complete the application form and respond accurately to the pre-screening questions.
Step 3: Assessment and Feedback
After successful registration, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. The Vodacom Resourcing Team will review applications and provide feedback throughout the process. Eligible candidates will be invited to complete a digital online assessment.
